The USCIS Electronic Immigration System (ELIS) was created to modernize the process for filing and adjudicating immigration benefits, transforming how USCIS interacts with its customers and manages the 6 to 7 million applications it receives each year. foreign citizens who travel to the United States temporarily to study, conduct business, receive medical treatment, or visit on vacation can establish an ELIS account and apply online to extend or change their non-immigrant status for certain visa types. ELIS also enables USCIS officers to review and adjudicate online filings from multiple agency locations across the country. As the Infosphere Identity Insight Subject Matter Expert, responsibilities include designing, developing and deploying the IBM Infosphere Identity Insight (ISII) for USCIS/ELIS.

• Monitoring and maintaining performance requirements of the Oracle 11g backend to ISII.
• Performing ad-hoc queries of the ISII Oracle database for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Analyzing and recommending performance enhancements to the ISII repository.
• Developing tools that interface with the Oracle database to monitor on-going performance and to analyze ISII results.
• Customizing ISII web services to provide interfaces with the other ELIS subsystems.
• Troubleshooting issues involving ISII in both production and development/testing environments.
• Provide client with information necessary to successfully implement ISII.
• Install and configure ISII to improve accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with IBM’s ISII support team.
